SDO Officials, Coaches Convene for R1AA 2026 Solidarity Meeting
To set the tone for this year’s Region 1 Athletic Association Meet, a solidarity meeting for Schools Division Office (SDO) officials, technical officials, and coaches was held at the Candon City Civic Center on April 6, 2026.
In her welcome message, Gemma Q. Tacuycuy, Schools Division Superintendent of Candon City, emphasized the city government’s commitment to fairness, underscoring that external judges were hired in some events to ensure impartial and credible selection of athletes.
The meeting concluded with a draw lot conducted by technical officials to ensure the fair distribution of matches.
