SDO IS champions Environmental Stewardship

CANDON CITY, Ilocos Sur - Five representatives from the Schools Division Office of Ilocos Sur participated in a tree planting activity held at the Candon City Eco Park on April 7, 2026, as part of ongoing Region 1 Athletic Association (R1AA) Meet 2026.

The activity brought together officials from the Regional Office and various Schools Division Offices underscoring a unified commitment to eco protection and sustainability initiatives.

Through the tree planting activity, participants aimed to contribute to reforestation and increase awareness about the importance of environmental stewardship while enjoying the friendly matches of the different competing divisions for rhe said R1AA.
