𝐒𝐃𝐎 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝟏𝐀𝐀 𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐭

BANTAY, ILOCOS SUR — Engulfed with grit to stamp the medal tally, around 900 athletes, coaches, assistant coaches, chaperones, and technical officials departed from Ilocos Sur Community College (ISCC) bound to Sta.  Cruz Central School (SCCS) to represent the Schools Division of Ilocos Sur in the Region I Athletic Association (R1AA) Meet, April 5.

The R1AA will be held at the City of Candon, however, the said delegates are billeted at SCCS, their home away from home for the next few days.

Meanwhile, a blessing ceremony through Rev. Fr. Jerry Avista was held before the departure, which set a tone of unity and purpose, asking the Divine guidance for the athletes' safety, performance, and sportsmanship throughout the competition.

The departure marks the culmination of months of preparation and the beginning of an anticipated week of competition. Schools Division officials expressed confidence in the contingent's readiness and commitment to upholding the division's reputation for athletic excellence and sportsmanship.
